I am an independent consultant offering teaching and learning professional development of interest to post-secondary educators. How do I get an account to become a Contributor?

Providers of teaching and learning offerings who are not publicly funded or in partnership with a publicly funded education institution or organization may request permission to become a Contributor of TLPD. These requests will be reviewed by the project team to determine whether the content of the learning opportunities align with the goals of the TLPD web portal.  If this applies to you, Contact Us to become a TLPD Contributor and include the following information in your request:

  1. Your name
  2. Organization
  3. Organization web address
  4. Examples of your organization’s teaching and learning professional development offerings

What kind of content is appropriate for inclusion in the TLPD portal?

The focus of phase 1 of the TLPD portal content is teaching and learning professional development events whose primary audience is B.C. postsecondary educators.

The “New & Noteworthy” section of the portal is where selected resources or events relevant to teaching and learning professional development may be highlighted every two months. If you have a resource or event you would like to have featured in “New & Noteworthy”, send a note to Contact Us. Please include a link to the resource or event website and a short description of the content. We may also request a relevant image or graphic (standard dimensions 580 x 250 px). Openly licensed resources and images are preferred but not required.
